Money between friends shouldn't be complicated.

WhoOwesWho was created to make shared expenses easier. Instead of spreadsheets, calculators and long conversations about who paid for what, WhoOwesWho helps groups work it out in seconds.

The problem we're solving

Shared expenses are part of everyday life.

  • ๐Ÿ Someone pays for dinner.
  • ๐Ÿจ Someone else books the hotel.
  • ๐Ÿš• Another person pays for taxis.
  • ๐Ÿ›’ Someone buys the groceries.

By the end, nobody remembers who paid what. WhoOwesWho turns those expenses into a simple answer:

Who pays whom, and how much?

Why WhoOwesWho exists

WhoOwesWho was built around a simple idea: shared expenses shouldn't require complicated spreadsheets or awkward calculations.

What we believe

  • Keep it simple

People shouldn't need to understand complicated calculations to split expenses fairly.

  • Be useful

Every part of the product should solve a real problem.

  • Respect privacy

Expense information should be handled thoughtfully.

  • Make everyday life easier

The goal is less money admin and fewer awkward conversations.

Your expenses are yours.

  • Anonymous usage statistics may record that an interaction or calculation happened, but they don't include people's names or expense amounts.
